In the wake of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s appearance in the United States months ago at Columbia University, there was a distinctive fall-out across the country; in particular, over the controversial comments the feisty Iranian Prime Minister made in respect to the Holocaust and Homosexuals.
In Iran, bloggers posted up a storm as well, according to the Human [...]

I suppose if there wasn’t a toll bridge at the turnpike, Sonny – a character in the “Godfather” – would never have been ambushed and murdered in brutal gangland style.
New Yorkers feel they are being ambushed in another way.
On the horizon?
City-dwellers in the Big Apple can expect to be squeezed for tolls on mid-Manhattan streets [...]

When I was 17 (gee, there must be a song in there somewhere) I was a street performer – who danced barefoot in the streets of downtown Toronto in torn blue jeans – with a shock of wild curly hair blowin’ in the wind.
Peter Frampton’s tresses of yesteryear had nothing on me!
Photographers found me a [...]

When film director Michael Moore unveiled his new documentary SiCKO – amid a lot of fanfare in earlier this year in Sacramento – some said:
“There he goes again”.
Taking in a documentary is one of my favorite past-times.
Of course, the “doc” comes in all varieties. A director may focus on thought-provoking pieces about nature’s astounding wonders, [...]

The ever slick – AskMen.com – tallied over 1 million votes recently and from the frenzied response figured out who is a true “man’s man”.
Silly me!
I thought that a “man’s man” was either a gay guy’s lover – or one of those traditional forms of help – otherwise known as a majordomo, butler, whatever.
So, I [...]

So, the lunacy continues!
Democrats are allegedly irate over a comment by Georgia representative – Lynn Westmoreland – that infers that Barack and his Missus are a tad bit “snobbish”.
In fact, the political machine that oils Barack’s squawk box, is demanding an apology.
The controversy arose when the politician from Grantville opined on record – somewhat disdainfully [...]

I laughed out loud when I came across an article in the morning paper – speculating about casting possibilities in the event Tinsel town opts to turn out a quickie screen bio on the dicey politico of the moment – Sarah Palin.
Writer Rachel Abramowitz offered up Demi Moore as a prime candidate for the meaty [...]
